Class Offerings
London Grove Friends Kindergarten offers two programs: a Half-day Kindergarten and a Full-day Kindergarten. After the lunch hour, Half-day friends wishing to stay until 3:00 will join an enrichment teacher for the afternoon.
• Half-day program hours are M-F, 9-12.
• Children will be accepted who will be 5 years old by January 31st of the school year.
• Full-day program hours are M-Th 9-3, and Friday, 9-12.
• Children will be accepted who will be 5 years old by August 31 of the school year.
An Afternoon Enrichment Program is available to Little Acorn and Half-day students up to 5 days a week, as well as Full-day students on Fridays at an additional charge. The program hours are 12-3 each day.
Little Acorns
Little Acorns Preschool was created to include 3 and 4 year old. Our little friends will be able to join in the fun Monday through Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm (morning class) . Parents may select the specific days of the week to enroll their child. Please see the Registration Tab for a registration form. Transportation is not provided for our Preschool friends.
Enrollment
For information about enrollment, call London Grove Friends Kindergarten at 610-268-8466 or find our Parent Letter and Application under the Registration tab. Enrollment is for the full school year and parents are responsible for the entire tuition. In case of withdrawal, there will be no refund. Our registration fee of $150 is collected at time of registration. The registration fee will be refunded only if the school is unable to place the applicant.
Parental Involvement
It is our experience that parental involvement is essential to the enhancement of the educational environment of our school. Children thrive where there is an atmosphere of cooperation between home and school. There are many opportunities for parental involvement at the Kindergarten. They include volunteering and assisting with special school events. Parents are expected to serve on at least one committee.
